Someone please tell me where is the third level? All the interesting details from this corner building are gone or damaged. I am not 100% sure what it use to be, but now it's the The Big Bop Concert Hall & Night Club (home of the Kathedral, the Reverb and Holy Joe's)

Did I say that I don't like deep purple???

  1. I have walked by this building hundreds of times, and would not have guessed it had a mansard roof. Is there any history about this building that you know of?

  2. I have no idea! From the picture, the building was already a bit old... I think it was maybe a theater with shops on the street level...

I would have to dig a bit more I guess!

Those glass blocks in the windows make me want to cry a little. Expecially with that ugly purple. Ugh!

  4. Thanks so much for the pimpin!
    I'm up for your challenge!

As for the windows - yea, pretty sad. And if you look real close, you'll see that they caked-in the wonderful bricks into a faux-stone effect.

    Humm.... Faux-stone painted purple...
